Prior to our re-opening, we have produced our COVID-19 Risk Assessment and Guidelines, in line with current HM Government.

We will check your guest registration details to assist the NHS Test and Trace facility, these temporary records (guest name and contact telephone number) will be kept for 21 days before destruction in accordance with the guidance and data protection legislation.

In line with current UK Government advice we re-opened on 4 July 2020.   We are and continue to track all of the relevant hospitality sector advice to meet COVID-19 secure guidelines as we prepare to open safely for our guests.  We are COVID safe and have passed and awarded the National Tourist Organisations of Great Britain and Northern Ireland COVID-19 Industry Standard Accreditation with both VisitEngland and the AA.  We have completed relevant training.  We have in place all necessary measures to maintain cleanliness and aid social/physical distancing in line with the current guidelines.  We’re Good to Go.

To summarise our full policy – we are committed to keeping you, our guests, and us safe by all keeping apart (as per the current HM Government’s social distancing requirements), washing our hands thoroughly, and undertaking extra deep-cleaning, along with reducing the available bedrooms by 30%.

In line with current HM Government guidelines, we have been required to change certain aspects of running Kingston House – breakfast will continue to be served in our Dining Room, but the service will be slightly different in line with the need for current social distancing guidelines.

We have adopted an enhanced cleaning schedule in line with the latest guidance.  We will discuss room servicing arrangements for you during your stay – we will not be able to carry out our normal daily cleaning and servicing regime.  We encourage guests to air the rooms upon departure.

Once you have read the above and are satisfied with our policy, we would love to hear from you and will be happy to make your booking.  However, we will understand if you would prefer to wait until next year to come and see us.

For those of you who already have a booking with us, but would like to amend the dates, we will be happy to do this for you.
